Modern is always hiring! We have nearly 1500 square feet of shop space, so there is truly no limit to how many barbers we can take on in revolving shifts. Whether you are looking for part-time or full-time, we can accommodate most schedules. No previous clientele is required.

 

Currently, we are seeking those with a CT barber's license or the qualification to immediately obtain one (CT/RI cosmetology will need to be transitioned.) We are a sanctioned Barber Apprenticeship facility with the CT Department of Labor and are primarily looking for those with particular experience and mentorship abilities. Compensation is a W-2 commission structure with room for growth.

 

We also have multiple suite rooms that may be rented for services such as cosmetology, tattooing, esthetician services or massage therapy.
